Scoot Gang

Elizabeth and Suzanne are really enjoying their pedal-less scoot bikes.

We just acquired a second one last weekend and I modified it to fit Suzanne. (The one she got for Christmas was too big, so Elizabeth is using that one for now.) It's nice to see Elizabeth get good at something athletic so fast. It's nice to see what she can do on a bike that actually fits her (Little Rosie is still too big!). And Suzanne, who is at the young end of the spectrum for being on two wheels, is definitely getting the hang of it.

Barb and I were talking about how scoot bikes seem like a new thing. I don't remember them existing when I was a kid. Then I remembered that scoot bikes were the first iteration of bikes ever, before even direct drive bikes like the boneshaker.

Sometimes the old ways are best.
