But if a picture's worth a thousand words, I can always write a thousand words! Or at least relate in prose what's new in Elizabethtown.
Suzanne is talking, talking, talking. She repeats almost any word you say. She offers soliloquies of gibberish, complete with hand gestures. She identifies everything she can with words: hat, Joey, bike, shoe, sock, dry (both noun and verb: towel and what you do with a towel), momma, mommy, daddy, tree, grandma, kitty, etc., etc., ad practically infinitum.
Suzanne, now 18 months, is also having a very difficult time with teething. It seems that all of her molars have decided to come in at once. She is in a lot of discomfort and nights are often terrible.
Elizabeth is very sweet toward her sister most of the time, and shuns her other times. In the mornings, for instance, she wants alone time in her room (or, better yet, time with Mom or Dad) with a very strong emphasis on "No Suzanne Allowed!" What Elizabeth (almost) never is, is violent. Can't really say the same for Suzanne, who aggressively pushes, hits, scratches, and pulls hair. Oh yeah, and her favorite: bites!
But she's a good girl. Sweet as pie. One just need look at her cherubic face... .
I need to post a picture!
